About Your Sentence

The court has sentenced you to a Community Order or a Suspended Sentence Community Order. There is a separate section on each of these sentences.

About the Activity Requirement Employment Training & Education

You will be given help to find a job or to improve your skills so that you can get a better job. You must accept this help.

This may mean:

			Helping you read or write better
			Helping you solve problems at work
			Learning new interview skills
			Learning how to write a good job application or;
			Helping you get on a suitable training programme

You will see an Employment Training and Education Specialist who will talk to you about your previous employment, your learning experience and what things are needed in order to improve your chances of finding work.

The person responsible for your sentence (your Responsible Officer) will discuss the details of your Activity Requirement with you.
