How Probation Works

Northamptonshire Probation Trust (NPT) is a critical part of the criminal justice system. Probation staff supervise offenders who are on a Community Order or have been released from prison on licence. Probation staff also prepare court reports for sentences as well as working in prisons, youth offenders and victims of crime.
