About Sentence Plan Boards:

Sentence Plan Boards provide an effective forum for ensuring that planning for effective supervision requirements can be evidenced. The main target for Boards will be high risk offenders given their risk profile and likelihood of re-offending. The boards bring together staff from Offender Management and Interventions to plan the offenders journey. The Boards provide a welcoming forum for offenders where clear information is conveyed and boundaries are set.

The Role of Staff:

Staff provide a motivational approach and demonstrate a 'working together' ethos. Staff also provide information and promote the Community Order as well as encouraging compliance. Staff also effectively respond to any queries the offender may have. An important role of staff in this process is to complete and update the assessment according to Key Requirements, Quality Assurance Standards and National Standards.
